Exhibitor Product Spotlight Cylinder hones ![]() HTD tube hone features stroke to 16 m (52 ft), bores to 1000 mm (39 in) diameter. Electronically-controlled spindle motor powers stock removal to 2500 cm3/hr (150 in.3/hr) for fast, accurate honing of hydraulic cylinders, other components. The machine corrects bore geometry and size errors and produces specific surface finishes and crosshatch angles to ensure correct sliding sealing surfaces between mating parts. Machine has Windows-based controller to ensure optimum control of bore geometry and is well suited for controlling taper variation and drift in long bores. Gearing up for IFPE
IFPE is the leading international exposition and technical conference in 2011 dedicated to the integration of fluid power with other technologies for power transmission and motion control applications. Promoters just announced that the Center for Compact & Efficient Fluid Power (CCEPF) will co-locate with IFPE for its annual meeting, which means its technical papers will be presented at the 52nd National Conference on Fluid Power (NCFP) being held at the show on March 22-26, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. CCEFP’s Annual Meeting encompasses research and education project presentations, as well as a poster session by Center students describing CCEFP research.
